New York, NY (OPENPRESS) April 8, 2008 — Mednik Events is producing a fundraiser to benefit a great charity Doctors Without Borders / Medecins Sans Frontieres. The event will take place on April 24th 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm at club Touch, located at 240 West 52nd Street, reserved exclusively for this function. The program will include live performance by Sylvia Tosun and DJ Anton Bass, fashion show by Delirius, showcased by models from Marilyn Agency, a brief thank you from the director of Doctors Without Borders in NYC, a photo slide show by Dima Gavrysh who has traveled with Doctors Without Borders and captured some of the most striking images (his photos were features at New York Times, People Magazine, Paris Match, etc) and a silent auction. The event will be photographed by Lux Photo Studios. Among the sponsors are Elle magazine, Kimberly Hotel, Equinox Sports Clubs, Kunduru Music, Ito En and Great Jones Spa. The invitation to the fundraiser has been sent out to thousands and has been posted on various websites. There is been a very big response. The minimum expected number of guests is 250. There are no advanced ticket sales for this event, but instead guests are invited to pay a charitable contribution of $20.00 at the door. Each guest will recieve wonderful gift bags compliments of the sponsors.
